On to Lake Atitlan - We had another early morning today - we awoke to a woman screaming very loudly - we're not sure what happened, but translating about half of what our hotel person told us, there were some "other" people in/near her place. Anyways - at least it was timed with our alarm clock - 6 am. We took a shuttle van from Antigua to Panajachel - a town on Lake Atitlan - it took about 2 1/4 hours. |

We got to sleep in a little bit this morning (8:30). We had a delicious breakfast at our hotel: eggs with tomato and onions, beans, avocado, plantains, and tortillas with fresh squeezed orange juice! After that, we decided to walk through the town to the boat docks. |

On tap for today was a rugged 2.5 hour horseback ride followed by breakfast. We got off to an early morning start - with some lakeside pictures - the clouds have made it tough to get a good shot of Volcano San Pedro, but we had some luck getting some good shots. |
